COVID-19: Updates from the UAE government

With immediate effect from 12.00 noon of Thursday, March 19 the UAE has suspended the entry of all its valid visa holders, who are currently out of the country for a renewable period of two weeks.  

Individuals in their country of origin have to contact the UAE diplomatic mission for support. Employees who are outside of the UAE for business have to contact their employers as well as  UAE diplomatic mission and those on vacation have to contact the UAE diplomatic mission in their host country for all necessary support. 

Nationalities who are eligible for visa on arrival to the UAE must note that this has also been suspended for two weeks from March 19.  

All pre-arranged entry visas, including new residence visas, issued before 19th March have now been invalidated and will not be accepted for entry into the UAE. 

Proven is making our decisions based on official advice from the relevant government and health authorities across all our global locations and have implemented work from home policies and social distancing. We have also suspended all business travel and non essential meetings, opting to use teleconferencing platforms wherever possible.
