Saudi Arabia in talks with private sector over reform plan

Saudi officials are in talks with private sector businesses to see how the government can adjust economic reforms.

Government officials said they are open to constructive dialogue with the private sector to see how the government can make changes to help businesses whilst achieving objectives.

This could include a change to the fees imposed on foreign workers, introduced in 2017, as this heavily impacted the private sector, the government are considering revising the levies and fees, however, nothing has been confirmed.

The government are continuing with the privatization plan and have completed four major transactions in energy, water solutions and health care.
