The Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) in Saudi Arabia will be providing 30% of salaries of Saudis working in the private sector for the first year to stimulate Saudization, increase participation of Saudi nationals in the labour market and provide them with necessary skills. The program is for male and female jobs seekers, those who haven’t worked more than 90 days and new graduates.

The HRDF approved program directs 70% of support to employment and 30% to training support. The employee’s salary is supported for a 3 year period at a 30% rate of the monthly salary for the first year, 20% for the second year and 10% in the third year. Additional support will be provided for companies that hire females or people with disabilities, those employed in small towns and villages and if the establishment has less than 50 workers.
