Saudi Aramco, Raytheon to develop cybersecurity joint venture

Saudi Aramco and Raytheon, an American defense contractor, have signed an agreement, to form a joint cybersecurity company.

The company will market and provide cybersecurity software and hardware as well as research and development. The joint venture will create high skilled jobs that can be filled by Saudi nationals, supporting Vision 2030 and the Saudi economy.

The demand for cybersecurity services is predicted to grow as the region embraces technology through the Internet of Things, big data, automated intelligence and robotic process automation.
